Hello All! It's a rainy, rainy day on the South Carolina Coast today, after yesterday's wonderful Blue-Sky day. It's a perfect day, in all respects. to go to the local public library and catch up on the Blog. Alas, however, the Local Public Library does not have wireless...so, we are parked on the Street in Myrtle Beach doing the best with what we have. A quick Blog-ette, to say we are alive and well and loving the Barrier Islands of South Carolina. We've been sleeping lately with the sound of the Atlantic in the backround. Tonight will be our second night on Huntington Beach, near Pawley's Island, and tomorrow we will be at Myrtle Beach State Park. Hopefully, when we get into Wilmington early next week we'll be able to find a way to do a real Blog - I know I am woefully behind. It'll go way back to Jekyll Island, which seems light years behind us now.
Especially since this-time-last-week-we-were-there means that this-time-next-week we'll be there just as quickly. We've been spending some conversational time discussing all that we have been doing and seeing these past 12 months and how, if at all, the experience will impact us in the future. In many ways we are just as excited about being back home as we are sad that the trip is coming to its conclusion. We know one thing, we'll be doing this again, one version or another. One day or another.
But we'll talk about that later...
Meanwhile, we will be celebrating our Ten Year Wedding Anniversary on Tuesday (or Wednesday?) - I hope it means a Hotel Room. With Dinner Out (and I don't mean out-side).
From Wilmington we are going to wander up the Cape Hatteras National Seashore - always one of our favorite haunts - and arrive for our rendez-vous with John and Harriet in Virginia next weekend.
Happy Birth Week to my friend Gwyn!
Until we can WiFi, WeGo.
